Rates

The first session (a diagnostic assessment) is $225 and can take up to 60 minutes. Ongoing sessions are $175 (individual psychotherapy for 53+ minutes) and $150 (individual psychotherapy for 38-52 minutes).

A gender-affirming medical and/or surgical treatments (GAMSTs) Consultation session to obtain a support letter is billed as a diagnostic assessment and can take 60-90 minutes . If additional sessions are needed, those sessions are billed at the individual psychotherapy rate.

There is no charge for GAMSTs letter writing. Please note that letter writing primarily occurs outside of individual therapy and GAMSTs Consultation sessions. Often, time can be spent during the session to review the language that folx want in their letter and tailor specific information to the individual. Every effort is taken to ensure letters are written in a timely and thoughtful manner.

Insurance

I am in-network with and able to accept HealthParters, Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United/Optum, (this typically includes Medica, Surest, and UMR plans) and PMAP (Prepaid Medical Assistance Program) plans through HealthPartners, Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Blue Plus), and United/Optum. I only submit claims for insurance plans that I accept. For those who elect to use out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
